Import of lumber of okoume, obeche, sapelli, sipo, acajou, makore wood to Pakistan: Raise in 2016

In comparison to one year earlier wood product import grew by 10.22 percent, according to new data announced by United Nations Statistical Office. It hit its 14-year maximum as wood product import increased from 43 410 748 US Dollar to 47 847 724 US Dollar, in contrast to the prior year when it diminished by 5.25 percent. Pakistan saw an increase of 904.94% in wood product import over the past 14 years. Likewise, it has shown a 0.09 percent average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 17 427 664.64 US Dollar from 2003 to 2016 and it reached its minimum of 1 309 US Dollar in 2009.
