Primary refined lead production in Argentina goes down in 2014

Lead production dropped by 13.04% in comparison with the previous year, refreshed numbers from U.S. Geological Survey reveal. The indicator diminished from 13 800 metric ton to 12 000 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it declined by 16.08 percent. Argentina saw a growth of 3 900% in lead production over the past 17 years. Though, it has shown a decline at a 0.03 percent compound annual growth rate during the five years with a modest overall rise since the 1998. It averaged 10 604.12 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it hit its all-time high of 16 445 metric ton in 2012 and record low of 300 metric ton in 1998.
