Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Sweden: Diminution in 2017

The indicator went down negligibly by 1.97% in comparison to the prior year, new data from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. Horses import diminished barely by 3 805.84 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 15.28 percent. Sweden saw a growth of 70.59% in horses import during the last 26 years. Besides, it has attained a 0.04 percent compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a negligible overall increase since the 1992. It averaged 182 222.28 kilogram from 1992 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 377 171 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 89 000 kilogram in 1993.
