Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Estonia: Drop in 2017

Yarn import strongly diminished by 52.52% in 2017, according to figures published by European Commission. Yarn import decreased sharply from 134 440 Euro in 2016 to 63 830 Euro previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 0.18 percent. The overall changes for the previous 15 years reached a decline of 82.11%. Furthermore, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.18 percent during the 5 years with a negligible overall drop since the 2003. It averaged 154 152 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 356 810 Euro in 2003 and record low of 45 000 Euro in 2009.
