Import of selenium to Australia: Diminution in 2016

Import of selenium strongly dropped by 52.85% in 2016, refreshed numbers from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. The indicator decreased sharply from 31 380 kilogram to 14 795 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it grew by 136.54%. Australia saw a diminution of 66.04% in import of selenium during the last 29 years. Besides, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.08 percent over the five years with a negligible overall drop since the 1988. It averaged 106 581.76 kilogram from 1988 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 483 828 kilogram in 1998 and record low of 10 227 kilogram in 2012.
