Import of cocoa beans to South Africa goes up in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that in comparison to the prior year cocoa beans import sharply went up by 63.61 percent. Cocoa beans import climbed strongly from 377 576 US Dollar in 2016 to 617 763.25 US Dollar previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 8.18 percent. The overall changes for the previous 18 years reached a diminution of 86.89%. Besides, it has had a 0.61% CAGR during the 5 years with a slight overall drop since the 2000. It averaged 2 051 636.35 US Dollar from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 8 400 193 US Dollar in 2003 and record low of 2 965 US Dollar in 2009.
