Export of frozen swine cuts from India: Raise in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that pork export climbed strongly by 2 681.35 percent in comparison to the prior year. The indicator went up greatly from 12 073 kilogram in 2016 to 335 792 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 429.52%. India saw a rise of 571.85% in pork export over the past 25 years. Furthermore, it has had a growth at a 4.28% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall decrease since the 1993. It averaged 152 729.56 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 908 000 kilogram in 1995 and record low of 2 160 kilogram in 2003.
