Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Czech Republic: Decline in 2016

Horses import went down by 26.36% in comparison with the previous year, refreshed statistics from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. Horses import declined by 4 302 kilogram, compared to the prior year when it went up by 136.69 percent. Czech Republic saw a decrease of 88.38% in horses import during the last 24 years. Besides, it has shown a drop at a 0.14% compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a slight overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 90 344.88 kilogram from 1993 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 227 635 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 6 895 kilogram in 2014.
