Export of multiple (folded) or cabled cotton yarn of uncombed fibres containing less than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn 192-125 decitex from Indonesia: Rise in 2017

Cotton export climbed sharply by 219.18% compared with the prior year, new figures from United Nations Statistical Office display. The variable strongly increased from 443 kilogram in 2016 to 1 413.99 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it dropped by 19.75 percent. Indonesia saw a diminution of 94.05% in cotton export during the last 8 years. Likewise, it has shown a 0.86% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 12 925.87 kilogram from 2010 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 77 126 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 118 kilogram in 2014.
