Import of non-coniferous hoopwood, split poles, pile, pickets and stakes to Barbados: Diminution in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that wood product import went down by 21.55% in comparison to one year earlier. Wood product import declined from 90 806 kilogram in 2016 to 71 236 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it grew by 0.96 percent. The overall changes for the previous 20 years attained a diminution of 61.1%. Furthermore, it has shown a growth at a 0.06% compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a modest overall fall since the 1998. It averaged 103 554.45 kilogram from 1998 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 222 152 kilogram in 2000 and record low of 24 415 kilogram in 2014.
