Import of motorcycles with reciprocating internal combustion piston engine of a cylinder capacity not exceeding 50 cc to Kazakhstan: Decrease in 2017

Motorcycle import went down strongly by 98.51% compared with the previous year, revised numbers from United Nations Statistical Office show. The indicator declined sharply from 3 556 349 kilogram to 52 835.56 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it increased by 1 540.37%. Kazakhstan saw a raise of 314.75% in motorcycle import over the past 17 years. However, it has attained a diminution at a 0.4 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall growth since the 2001. It averaged 356 874.15 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 3 556 349 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 7 800 kilogram in 2003.
