Export of lumber of beech (fagus spp) from Bulgaria: Decline in 2017

In comparison to the year before the variable declined by 6.76%, revised figures from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. Wood product export fell from 12 457 cubic meter in 2016 to 11 614.84 cubic meter prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 17.22%. Bulgaria saw a drop of 38.31% in wood product export over the past 16 years. In comparison with its average, the wood product export is now smaller as the mean equals 51 136.68 cubic meter and the indicator displays a negligible overall decrease since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 570 517 cubic meter in 2003 and record low of 6 429 cubic meter in 2008.
