Export of knitted or crocheted hosiery of wool or fine animal hair from Sri Lanka declines in 2017

According to numbers presented by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 underwear export fell by 10.86 percent. Underwear export declined by 57 481.75 US Dollar, versus the prior year when it grew by 77.02%. Sri Lanka saw a raise of 7 284.06% in underwear export over the past 28 years. Likewise, it has attained an increase at a 0.01% compound annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the 1990. It averaged 229 273.4 US Dollar from 1990 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 841 682 US Dollar in 2007 and record low of 101 US Dollar in 1993.
