Import of olive oil and fractions blends to Iceland increases in 2017

According to figures issued by United Nations Statistical Office, the variable strongly went up by 48.8 percent compared with the prior year. It indicates the all-time maximum since 1988 as olive oil import sharply increased by 7 321.39 kilogram, versus the prior year when it went down by 0.99%. Iceland saw an increase of 6 118.77% in olive oil import during the last 30 years. Likewise, it has attained a 0.22 percent compound annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall raise since the 1988. It averaged 4 791.28 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 64 kilogram in 1990.
