Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Tunisia: Drop in 2016

According to figures issued by United Nations Statistical Office, horses import greatly dropped by 95.83 percent compared with the prior year. The indicator declined strongly by 9 200 kilogram, contrarily to the previous year when it climbed by 255.56%. The overall changes for the prior 26 years reached a drop of 49.75%. Furthermore, it has had a decline at a 0.47 percent compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a negligible overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 932.38 kilogram from 1991 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 9 600 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 199 kilogram in 1995.
