Motor and aviation gasoline demand in China: Increase in June 2018

In comparison with May the indicator grew by 5.61 percent, according to refreshed data presented by JODI Data. Motor and aviation gasoline demand rose by 4 658 thousand barrels, compared with the previous month when it dropped by 5.26 percent. In 2017, the variable was decreasing by -1.33 percent and reached 88 714.5 thousand barrels the same month in 2017. Between June 2017 and the same month one year later, the figures illustrate a -1.2 percent variation. China saw a raise of 131.73% in motor and aviation gasoline demand during the last 14 years. Likewise, the motor and aviation gasoline demand is now higher than its average which equals 58 075.92 thousand barrels with a modest overall growth since the start of observations. It hit its all-time high of 95 854.5 thousand barrels in October 2017 and record low of 29 070 thousand barrels in March 2005.
