Citrus production in China grows in 2017

Citrus production increased hardly by 3.62% in comparison with one year earlier, according to numbers released by China National Statistical Office. It hit its 32-year peak as citrus production negligibly climbed by 136.11 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 2.86%. The overall changes for the previous 32 years attained a growth of 1 431%. Likewise, it has attained the average annual growth rate of 0.03 percent over the five years with a marginal overall increase since the 1986. It averaged 1 629.53 ten thousand metric ton from 1986 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 254.8 ten thousand metric ton in 1986.
