Export of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale from Lithuania goes up in 2017

Antibiotic export greatly rose by 71.32 percent compared with the previous year, according to adjusted numbers published by European Commission. Antibiotic export climbed sharply by 31 510 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 5.54%. It attained its 18-year maximum. Lithuania saw an increase of 1 244.4% in antibiotic export during the last 18 years. Likewise, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.83% during the last 5 years with a marginal overall rise since the 2000. It averaged 25 100 Euro from 2000 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 3 660 Euro in 2013.
