Export of fresh or chilled carrots and turnips from Barbados: Decline in 2017

In 2017 carrot export sharply decreased by 62.74%, adjusted numbers from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. The variable went down strongly from 212 kilogram to 79 kilogram, in comparison with the previous year when it climbed by 393.02%. The overall changes for the prior 20 years attained a decline of 11.24%. Besides, it has attained a 0.14% average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a marginal overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 355.1 kilogram from 1998 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 2 186 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 41 kilogram in 2013.
