Petrochemical feedstock import in Portugal goes up in June 2018

In June 2018 refined oil products import grew sharply by 132.14 percent, refreshed numbers from JODI Data pinpoint. Refined oil products import greatly went up from 167.47 thousand barrels to 388.76 thousand barrels, versus the previous month when it diminished by 6.67%. When taking into account 2017, it can be observed that the indicator was rising by 30.16% and hit 490.44 thousand barrels in June. This illustrates a -20.73% variation between June 2017 and the same month in 2018. Portugal saw a raise of 1.56% in refined oil products import during the last 9 years. Compared with its average, the refined oil products import is now greater as the mean equals 336.41 thousand barrels with a moderate overall decrease since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 945 thousand barrels in October 2010 and record low of 83.73 thousand barrels in November 2014.
