Import of medicaments containing insulin but not antibiotics for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses or for retail sale to Ireland grows in 2016

European Commission reported that insulin import barely climbed by 0.27 percent in 2016. Insulin import went up negligibly from 24 338 550 Euro in 2015 to 24 403 090 Euro previous year, in comparison with the prior year when it declined by 3.54%. Ireland saw a rise of 8 233.82% in insulin import during the last 17 years. Still it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.01 percent during the 5 years with a marginal overall raise since the 2000. It averaged 15 018 358.82 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 25 549 500 Euro in 2012 and record low of 174 500 Euro in 2001.
