Production of salt suitable for human consumption in Bulgaria: Diminution in 2017

According to new statistics released by European Commission, compared to the prior year condiment production decreased by 13.13%. The variable dropped from 35 963 164 kilogram in 2016 to 31 240 862 kilogram prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it went up by 22.3%. Bulgaria saw an increase of 20.49% in condiment production over the past 10 years. In comparison with its average, the condiment production is now bigger as the mean equals 22 260 268.4 kilogram and the indicator displays a slight overall rise since the 2008. It reached its all-time high of 35 963 164 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 14 196 874 kilogram in 2009.
