Import of backed foil of refined copper to Europe drops in 2017

Compared to the prior year copper import declined slightly by 4.16 percent, new figures from United Nations Statistical Office present. The indicator negligibly decreased by 363 940 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 2.62%. The overall changes for the prior 18 years hit a decline of 48.81%. Moreover, it has shown a decrease at a 0.02 percent compound annual growth rate during the five years with a slight overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 11 883 506.56 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 18 568 846 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 8 209 876 kilogram in 2009.
