Import of aluminium structures and parts for construction to Jamaica: Increase in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that the indicator greatly went up by 42.32 percent in 2017. Aluminium import climbed sharply from 671 571 kilogram to 955 802.31 kilogram, contrarily to the previous year when it fell by 26.88%. Jamaica saw a raise of 427.26% in aluminium import over the past 19 years. Moreover, it has had a rise at a 0.02% CAGR during the last five years with a negligible overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 679 511.96 kilogram from 1999 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 1 991 025 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 106 170 kilogram in 2000.
