Sales of margarine and reduced and low fat spreads in Netherlands decreases in 2016

In 2016 the variable decreased by 6.88 percent, adjusted numbers from European Commission highlight. It attained its 22-year low as spreads sales went down from 244 170 thousand kilograms to 227 373 thousand kilograms, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 7.69%. Netherlands saw a decrease of 32.07% in spreads sales during the last 22 years. As well as it has had a drop at a 0.02 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 269 850.23 thousand kilograms from 1995 to 2016 and it reached its maximum of 349 091 thousand kilograms in 1997.
