Export of sweetened cocoa powder from Singapore falls in 2016

Compared with 2015 cocoa powder export sharply decreased by 45.4 percent, adjusted data from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. Cocoa powder export went down greatly by 5 500 670 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 13.17%. Singapore saw a decrease of 71.66% in cocoa powder export over the past 28 years. Besides, it has attained a fall at a 0.09% average annual growth rate during the five years with a slight overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 14 277 326.04 kilogram from 1989 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 27 742 516 kilogram in 1993 and record low of 4 358 755 kilogram in 2007.
