Import of parts of electrical ignition or starting equipment to Malta decreases in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that in comparison with the previous year the variable decreased strongly by 99.46%. Electronic component import went down sharply by 2 338 355 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it climbed by 25 030.3%. Malta saw a decline of 58.9% in electronic component import over the past 22 years. Moreover, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.22 percent over the five years with a modest overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 118 592.41 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 2 350 940 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 4 570 kilogram in 2012.
