Import of cases for gun, musical instrument, camera to Dominican Republic: Decrease in 2016

According to updated numbers issued by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison with the prior year consumer goods import went down by 11.41 percent. Consumer goods import dropped from 4 504 687 US Dollar in 2015 to 3 990 505 US Dollar previous year, compared with the prior year when it went up by 28.57 percent. The overall changes for the previous 16 years hit a growth of 128.55%. Besides, it has shown a raise at a 0.02% average annual growth rate over the last five years with a negligible overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 3 333 382.63 US Dollar from 2001 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 5 168 792 US Dollar in 2009 and record low of 611 474 US Dollar in 2004.
