Re-export of dobbies, jacquards for spinning machines and looms from Hong Kong: Decrease in 2017

In 2017 industrial equipment export sharply went down by 74.24 percent, updated numbers from United Nations Statistical Office pinpoint. The variable greatly decreased from 10 326 kilogram in 2016 to 2 660 kilogram previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it rose by 732.74%. Hong Kong saw a growth of 8 212.5% in industrial equipment export over the past 18 years. However, it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.51% during the last five years with a modest overall fall since the 2000. It averaged 62 343.06 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 371 079 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 32 kilogram in 2000.
