Average daily crude oil consumption in China: Rise in 2015

The indicator grew barely by 4.94% in comparison to the previous year, according to revised statistics released by China National Statistical Office. Crude oil consumption hardly went up by 6.97 million metric tons, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 5.95 percent. It reached its 16-year peak. The overall changes for the previous 16 years attained a raise of 155.46%. As well as it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.04 percent during the 5 years with a modest overall increase since the 2000. It averaged 81.97 million metric tons from 2000 to 2015 and it hit its minimum of 58.01 million metric tons in 2000.
