Average daily crude oil consumption in China: Raise in 2015

Compared with the prior year the variable negligibly increased by 4.94 percent, according to updated statistics announced by China National Statistical Office. It's new all-time peak since 2000 as crude oil consumption hardly climbed from 141.22 million metric tons to 148.19 million metric tons, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 5.95 percent. The overall changes for the prior 16 years attained an increase of 155.46%. Besides, it has had a rise at a 0.04 percent compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a slight overall growth since the 2000. It averaged 81.97 million metric tons from 2000 to 2015 and it hit its minimum of 58.01 million metric tons in 2000.
