Import of letter cards, plain postcards and correspondence cards to Ireland: Decline in 2017

In comparison with the year before consumer goods import diminished strongly by 49.52%, revised statistics from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. The indicator decreased sharply by 149 071.53 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 32.29 percent. Ireland saw a rise of 43.61% in consumer goods import over the past 26 years. However, it has attained a fall at a 0.09% CAGR during the last 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the 1992. It averaged 177 915.8 kilogram from 1992 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 444 613.28 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 55 893 kilogram in 1998.
