Import of refined olive oil and fractions to Samoa climbs in 2017

According to statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 olive oil import rose greatly by 60.92 percent. Olive oil import sharply increased by 8 702.96 US Dollar, contrarily to the prior year when it declined by 59.3 percent. The overall changes for the previous 17 years attained an increase of 131.54%. Furthermore, it has attained a 0.22% CAGR over the five years with a negligible overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 13 732.53 US Dollar from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 35 100 US Dollar in 2015 and record low of 1 763 US Dollar in 2004.
