Vanadium pentoxide (anhydride) imports in United States falls in 2017

Compared with the previous year vanadium import decreased by 21.04%, adjusted figures from U.S. Geological Survey illustrate. The indicator declined from 2 400 metric ton to 1 895 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 16.38%. United States saw an increase of 123.73% in vanadium import over the past 20 years. However, it has had a decline at a 0.01% average annual growth rate during the five years with a modest overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 1 801.6 metric ton from 1998 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 4 000 metric ton in 2010 and record low of 208 metric ton in 1999.
