Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle registrations in Hungary climbs in Q2 of 2018
According to revised statistics published by European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, in comparison with Q1 2018 the variable sharply went up by 41.18%. Electric vehicle registration rose greatly from 170 to 240, as it follows the tendency of the previous quarter when it grew by 12.58 percent. It's new all-time peak since 2015. The data attained 108 number in Q2 2017, which is a 66.15% variation in comparison to the previous three months of 2017. This illustrates a 122.22% change between Q2 2017 and the same quarter the year after. Hungary saw a raise of 5 900% in electric vehicle registration during the last 3 years. Moreover, the electric vehicle registration is now greater than its average which equals 74.21 with a negligible overall increase since the start of observations. It hit its minimum of 3 in 2Q 2015.
