Export of crude or roughly trimmed marble and travertine from Bulgaria goes up in 2017

According to statistics published by European Commission, the indicator strongly went up by 249.34% compared with the prior year. It hit its 17-year peak as marble export greatly increased from 116 330 Euro to 406 390 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 77.01 percent. Bulgaria saw a raise of 23.04% in marble export during the last 17 years. As well as it has shown a 0.02 percent compound annual growth rate during the five years with a modest overall growth since the 2001. It averaged 132 000 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 23 230 Euro in 2006.
