Export of furniture of cane, osier, bamboo or similar materials from Uganda declines in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that the variable greatly decreased by 34.27% in comparison with the same time an year ago. The indicator declined sharply by 4 233 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 30.64%. Uganda saw a growth of 2 642.91% in consumer goods export during the last 23 years. Still it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.32 percent during the last 5 years with a modest overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 17 341.26 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 86 661 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 50 kilogram in 2000.
