Import of printed twill cotton containing less than 85% by weight of cotton weighing more than 200 g/m2 to Dominican Republic falls in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that in 2016 cotton import declined greatly by 84.42 percent. The indicator sharply decreased from 3 344 US Dollar in 2015 to 521 US Dollar previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 15.77 percent. The overall changes for the previous 15 years reached a drop of 96.27%. Furthermore, it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.27 percent over the last five years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 8 120.27 US Dollar from 2002 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 83 188 US Dollar in 2007 and record low of 53 US Dollar in 2010.
