Import of castor oil or fractions to Iceland: Rise in 2017

According to adjusted numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison to the prior year the indicator climbed sharply by 364.39 percent. Castor oil import greatly increased by 962 kilogram, compared with the previous year when it fell by 43.35%. Iceland saw a decrease of 68.66% in castor oil import during the last 30 years. Furthermore, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.37% during the 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 12 017.13 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 42 879 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 264 kilogram in 2016.
