Export of upholstered seats with metal frames from Dominican Republic: Decrease in 2016

In 2016 consumer goods export decreased greatly by 70.18%, according to refreshed statistics announced by United Nations Statistical Office. It's new all-time minimum since 1997 as the indicator sharply diminished from 228 kilogram to 68 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 97.41 percent. Dominican Republic saw a decrease of 98.22% in consumer goods export during the last 20 years. Moreover, it has attained a decline at a 0.37 percent average annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 63 512.7 kilogram from 1997 to 2016 and it hit its maximum of 422 721 kilogram in 2009.
