Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres packaged for retail sale to Latvia rises in 2017

According to figures published by European Commission, in comparison to the previous year the indicator sharply increased by 33.33 percent. The variable grew greatly from 300 kilogram in 2016 to 400 kilogram prior year, versus the previous year when it decreased by 57.14 percent. Latvia saw a fall of 76.47% in yarn import over the past 10 years. Likewise, it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.34% during the last five years with a marginal overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 1 960 kilogram from 2008 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 5 300 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 200 kilogram in 2009.
