Export of cane beet sugar from Jamaica: Decline in 2017

In 2017 beet sugar export went down sharply by 97.16%, refreshed figures from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. The indicator diminished greatly from 25 764 556 kilogram to 732 270 kilogram, versus the previous year when it grew by 9 655.09%. The overall changes for the prior 27 years reached a drop of 99.52%. As well as it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.59% over the last five years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 106 811 690.37 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 181 472 960 kilogram in 1996 and record low of 264 114 kilogram in 2015.
