Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Argentina goes down in 2017

According to statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison to the prior year the indicator declined by 9.19 percent. Horses import dropped by 7 270 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it climbed by 119.96%. Argentina saw a decline of 86.18% in horses import during the last 25 years. Likewise, it has had a 0.07% average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall diminution since the 1993. It averaged 425 848 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 289 744 kilogram in 1994 and record low of 24 652 kilogram in 2002.
