Import of nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizers to Israel goes down in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office reported that fertilizer import decreased by 8.87% in comparison to the year before. Fertilizer import dropped by 230 000 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 47.76 percent. Israel saw a growth of 225.34% in fertilizer import over the past 22 years. Still it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.09% during the last 5 years with a negligible overall raise since the 1995. It averaged 2 421 227.27 US Dollar from 1995 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 9 091 000 US Dollar in 2008 and record low of 535 000 US Dollar in 2009.
