Export of prepared or preserved cherries from Belgium decreases in 2017

According to revised numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office, processed fruits export dropped by 10.66% compared with one year earlier. Processed fruits export went down by 806 896.5 US Dollar, in contrast to the previous year when it climbed by 13.21%. Belgium saw a drop of 28.34% in processed fruits export over the past 19 years. Besides, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.14% during the 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the 1999. It averaged 10 914 634.92 US Dollar from 1999 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 17 850 450 US Dollar in 2012 and record low of 6 683 189 US Dollar in 2015.
