Import of sanitary towels and tampons, napkins and napkin liners for babies to Turkey decreases in 2017

In comparison with the previous year the indicator dropped by 22.39 percent, updated figures from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. Consumer goods import decreased by 7 963 660 kilogram, compared to the prior year when it went up by 51.82 percent. The overall changes for the previous 29 years attained a growth of 11 486.01%. Moreover, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.13% during the last 5 years with a marginal overall raise since the 1989. It averaged 7 851 669.86 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 35 574 632 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 179 738 kilogram in 1994.
