Export of chewing gum from Hungary rises in 2017

According to updated figures issued by European Commission, the variable increased greatly by 33.06 percent compared with 2016. The indicator sharply went up by 88 900 kilogram, versus the prior year when it diminished by 12.58 percent. Hungary saw a fall of 61.21% in chewing gum export over the past 17 years. As well as it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.12% during the last five years with a slight overall diminution since the 2001. It averaged 858 029.41 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 598 300 kilogram in 2009 and record low of 268 900 kilogram in 2016.
