Export of fresh or chilled poultry cuts and offal from Portugal falls in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that poultry meat export decreased by 11.52% in 2017. The indicator fell from 2 275 387 kilogram in 2016 to 2 013 167.38 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 20.31 percent. Portugal saw a raise of 6 493 988.32% in poultry meat export over the past 30 years. Moreover, it has shown a growth at a 0.05 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a marginal overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 597 177.85 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 2 855 400 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 31 kilogram in 1988.
