Import of bran, sharps and other residues from the sifting, milling or other working of cereals to Hungary: Diminution in 2017

Compared to the prior year the indicator declined by 25.69 percent, updated figures from European Commission reveal. The variable decreased from 540 440 Euro to 401 580 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it increased by 55.94 percent. Hungary saw a raise of 1 743.8% in food waste import during the last 16 years. Still it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.16 percent over the last five years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 353 406.88 Euro from 2002 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 501 910 Euro in 2012 and record low of 15 780 Euro in 2008.
