Chromium consumption in Finland: Drop in 2015

The variable dropped strongly by 51.2% in 2015, according to figures presented by U.S. Geological Survey. The indicator sharply fell by 85 thousand tonnes, compared with the prior year when it grew by 19.42%. Finland saw a fall of 49.06% in chromium consumption during the last 13 years. Besides, it has had a drop at a 0.13 percent average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a negligible overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 135.77 thousand tonnes from 2003 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 172 thousand tonnes in 2008 and record low of 48 thousand tonnes in 2009.
