Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Norway: Drop in 2017

Horses import declined by 15.52 percent in comparison to one year earlier, revised statistics from United Nations Statistical Office show. The variable decreased from 116 in 2016 to 98 previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it went up by 9.43%. The overall changes for the previous 18 years reached a drop of 60.8%. Moreover, it has had a diminution at a 0.04 percent compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 202.5 from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 348 in 2008 and record low of 69 in 2014.
